On utilise l'auxiliaire did pour poser des questions au prétérit, SAUF si le verbe est déjà un auxiliaire > be, ou un modal.
1- Where were Ann ans Chris last month?
They were on holiday in Spain.
2- Was the weather nice last weekend ?
Yes, it was very sunny.
3- Did you go to the swimming pool on Tuesday?
No, didn't.
4- When did you come back home ?
Two days ago.
5- Who did Ted go surfing with ?
He went surfing with my sister.
